A total of 2,389 farmers cooperate with the Incuti washing station located in the Kayanza Provence region.

As soon as the cherries are delivered to the washing station, they are soaked in water to separate the ripe cherries from the unripe or damaged ones.

After sorting, the ripe cherries are processed in a natural way: after the cherries have been washed in water, they are immediately taken to dry on African beds, where they are stirred every hour for uniform drying. This process takes up to 28 days.
