The rotating hex shaft gives better contact between the handle itself and the shaft. The material of the handle and the shaft is dense metal, which reduces the abrasion of the shaft itself, as it was on the previous model. And the handle was made of thicker metal, which added weight to it.

Changed the color of the top cap and bottom flask to transparent black, made of super durable acrylic.

It became easier to grind for espresso or for turk, (from 0.10-0.40 mm), but still it was invented for a medium grind, (0.6-0.9 mm) and does it well. Well suited for French press, Purover, Kemex, Aeropress, Siphon.
