China KongQue

This coffee comes from the relatively new coffee region of Yunnan in China. It is cultivated by small and medium-sized farmers from local highland villages. They named the coffee after the peacock, believing it brings luck to the families on whose land it nests.

The farmers handpick the coffee and take it to washing stations. There, the coffee is thoroughly sorted and depulped. Afterward, it's fermented, washed in clean water, and sent to dry.

When brewed as filter coffee, KongQue coffee reveals flavors of ribes, cocoa, and apple. As an espresso, it offers notes of red currant, cocoa, and almond
